Most of us are scared of change. We can’t help but fear what we don’t know. And thus we waste our lives thinking about change while stuck in mediocrity, afraid of leaping. We allow ourselves to be stomped and walked over just because it is familiar.

Most people live an average life and die an average death. In pursuit of being loved, we break, mold, and present ourselves into something we are not. And then, when failure arrives, we point fingers at circumstances, family, the whole world if we have to; completely avoiding any responsibility for our behavior and its consequences.

But why?

One must be capable of not knowing what to do with life and also have the capacity to discover true purpose, even if that feels impossible. Be in solitude if you have to, but don’t overwhelm yourself with distractions. Face your demons, stare them straight in the eye, and overcome them one by one.

Be willing to burn every memory, every moment, and every thought; no matter how beautiful it is. Be as ruthless to life as it is to you.

Change isn’t the enemy. Change is the invitation.

The question is: are you brave enough to accept it?
